Hi, I’m Claire. I design and make stained glass suncatchers from my little home studio in Seaford, East Sussex, alongside patterns for other glass makers.

When I’m in the studio, I’m usually drawing, cutting glass or choosing colours for the next piece. My French bulldog, Obi, likes to keep me company. He takes his supervisory role quite seriously, especially when there are treats involved.

I make my pieces using the traditional copper foil method, with animals and nature inspiring many of my designs. Every design is drawn by me, without AI. When creating patterns, I think about how the glass will actually be cut and assembled, as well as how the finished piece will look.
