This suncatcher features a beautifully patterned balloon in cheerful shades of yellow, blue, and purple, complete with real metal chains suspending a little brown glass basket beneath it.
Adding the physical chains to connect the basket to the burner section was such a fun finishing touch that gives the piece wonderful movement and texture.
Whether you are decorating a nursery, looking for a unique gift for someone who loves to travel, or just want to add a bit of uplifting whimsy to your own space, I hope this balloon brings a little bit of joy to your day.
Approximately 260 mm high and 160 mm wide
Made from stained glass, copper foil and solder
Finished with a chain, ready to hang
Handmade in the UK
Because each suncatcher is handmade, the colours and patterns within the glass may vary slightly from the photographs. These small differences are part of the character of handmade stained glass and mean that no two suncatchers will be exactly the same.
The appearance of the glass will also change depending on the light and the background behind it.
Your suncatcher will be carefully packaged before being posted.
Safety and care
This piece is made using solder that contains lead. It is intended for decorative display only and is not a toy.
Please wash your hands with soap and water after handling, particularly before eating. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and do not allow contact with the mouth, food or drink.
Glass is fragile, so handle carefully and hang from a secure fixing.
